Forced-tilt

Forced-tilt

The forced tilt is a part in the drying machine (models RM, MB, MBD) that forces the plates of the drying belt to drop at the end of the belt. The tilting of the plates makes sure the product moves to the layer beneath.

From experience it showed that when material is off spec or inconsistent the plates can have difficulties dropping. To improve tilting Dorset has designed the forced tilt. This device forces the plates to tilt even when the material is blocking the drop. This reduces the number of alarms due to a failed plate tilt.

For new machines the forced tilt comes standard. For older plants the force tilt is available as a retrofit. Installation takes only 1 day. For more information about the costs and the possibilities please contact our service department: +31 (0) 543-745402 or by email: service-gm@dorset.nu.
