It will be the seventh season for WasteTech to become the gathering place for waste & recycling community where visitors can learn about the latest products, equipment and services, network with customers and partners, and learn from industry-leading experts in the content-rich conference program. WasteTech covers a wide range of environmental technologies, machines and equipment. Due to the global climate change issues WasteTech-2011 will be expanded by renewable energy and solutions to resist global climate change.
The main topics of the exhibition are related to:
• Waste management and recycling
• Ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap recycling – ScrapExpo
• Waste water treatment and sludge management
• Air-pollution control – LuftTech
• Rehabilitation of contaminated sites and water areas
• Renewable energy – REnergo
WasteTech has showed long record of growth and innovation. Total attendance at WasteTech-2009 was over 6200. 287 companies from 24 countries took part in the show that covered more than 5300 sqm. Austria, Germany, Finland, Czech Republic, France, Israel and some other countries were present to organise their national pavilions. This is because of the dynamic development of the environmental technologies market in Russia, which is growing and has a lot of potential in the nearest future. WasteTech target audience is federal, regional and municipal public agencies, municipal services, industries, manufacturers and suppliers of machines, equipment and services, research, design, development and academic institutions and NGOs.
WasteTech Conference program always features a wide range of conferences, seminars and workshops. At the moment WasteTech organisers agreed with the International Solid Waste Association to hold the ISWA Conference "Solid Waste Treatment and Disposal: Leading Edge Technologies" as a part of WasteTech-2011 conference programme to bring together solid waste managers, practitioners, operators, policy-makers, manufacturers, vendors and other specialists throughout the world.
