With his Dorset drying plant Singleton Birch will be able to utilize usefully the 1.5 MW waste heat from electricity production to dry locally the digestate from its modern PlanET biogas plants.
The company Singleton Birch from Linconshire has been active for 200 years with quarries in the limestone industry. They want to make their energy supply more renewable by running biogas plants at their quarries located in agricultural areas.
